Maggie decided that instead of a "friend" birthday party this year, she would rather go to the MOA (Mall of America for you non-Minnesotans) and do "Build-A-Bear." We told her she could pick one friend; she chose her cousin. The entire O'Rourke clan met us there and we had a wonderful birthday lunch at Rainforest Cafe and then the girls went to Build-A-Bear while the boys braved the rides.

Ava picked a beautiful pink bear with a fabulous rainbow fairy costume. Mags decided on a kitty (at Build-A-BEAR, who knew?) and dressed her in a beautiful ice skating costume. It was a wonderful time - they got to put the hearts in the animals (sounds a little gross...) and then watch the stuffing go in. And then, it was on to the rides for the girls.

Jake, Scott and Uncle Andy bravely got on the upside-down roller coaster. Made me sick just looking up at the thing. While we watched, Aunt Sara said, "That looks like fun..." So...

She and Jake got on after Jake's first ride was done. They had a screaming good time!
